Meet the Team

Peg Beck earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Syracuse University and her master's degree in social work from Boston University. She is a licensed independent clinical social worker.

Peg has spent her entire career working with people facing challenging times. This has led her to work with people with learning and social challenges; infertility; adoption and disabilities. She has worked in residential programs; school settings; community college; grassroots organizations; adoption programs and mental health settings. In each of those settings, one of her favorite topics was always how do we talk about this with ourselves, our children, our family, and our friends. She reports it has been a wonderful and rich career.

She especially likes working with young people and their families as she understands the importance of family support as young people grow and make good sense of their lives. Peg has vast experience working with teens, adults, and parents. Her approach is psycho-educational which means she focuses on emotional self-discovery as well as skill development.

In her spare time, she spends time with her dog, other dog lovers, family and friends.
